Comments made: This is a problem site. It appears the value of the site in terms of development potential has exceeded the value of retaining an employment use - a pattern repeated elsewhere in this area and leading to a change of both character and economic/employment activity. The site is constrained and the two/three storey dwellings are very close to established houses at the rear, leading to a potential loss of privacy for occupiers. The parking arrangements are cramped and could result in undue noise and congestion. If the principle of residential redevelopment is acceptable then the detailed issues need to be re-addressed.
