NOMINATIONS FOR 2018 SCHEMES

 

Loney Street former Masseys dyeworks – Silkdale Living – terraced dwellings.

Great King Street/Catherine Street former Kenyons Yard – terraced dwellings.

Grosvenor Centre – extension, conversion and new shop units – TJ Maxx etc.

MDGH housing site – Elan Homes.

Newton Street – terraced dwellings by Silkdale.

Thowsters Court rebuilding and facade reinstatement facing onto Park Green.

Dwelling at Copper Street.

Warwick Road – 4 houses.

Wilton Crescent – apartments at 2/4.

Mural at Park Green for Armistice Celebrations.

Small house – Briarwood Avenue.

Planting area and garden at former Harvest Printers.

Book on Street Names of Macclesfield by David Cliffe.

Building the Peace Project - Macclesfield Churches.

Refurbishment of 108/110/112 Park Lane – Eric Rogers estates.

Residential conversion at Mill Lane opposite Peace Gardens.

Private medical facility and cafe at Charles Roe House, Chestergate.

Refurbishment of 9 Market Place and reopening as cafe and bakery.

Murals in underpass beneath Silk Road on Middlewood Way.

Floral displays in and around Macclesfield Town Centre - Macclesfield Town Council.

 

NOMINATIONS INELIGIBLE BECAUSE UNCOMPLETED BY 31 DECEMBER 2018

 

Cumberland Street care home on former church site – not completed.

Waterways 1831 – housing estate Gunco Lane – not completed.

Buxton Road Wharf – care home – Adlington Care – not completed.

2,4,6 Treacle Road – part of Silk Waters development off Moss Lane – not completed.

Paradise Street/Crossall Street – terraced houses and flats by Silkdale – not completed.

 

NOMINATIONS FOR 'GROT SPOT'

 

Venture House facade to Mill Lane – poor cosmetic condition.

The Towers – awaiting land transfer completion and start of work.

Rear of B&M – poor appearance.

House on corner of Ivy Road/Earlsway – uncompleted for some years but still ongoing.

Three Pigeons and Old Kings Head site, Chestergate/King Edward Street – neglect.
