Civic Awards for developments completed during 2017

 

The awards scheme is run by the Society, with the participation of Macclesfield Town Council and publicised by the Macclesfield Express and I Love Macc and Local People

 

NOMINATIONS FOR 2017 SCHEMES

   •65/67 Roe Street conversion of offices to residential

   •Cold Arbour Farm, Tytherington – restoration of Listed farm house and barn, new dwelling and garage block.

   •Webb Close, Tytherington – starter homes.

   •King Edward Street Chambers - renovations.

   •54 Fence Avenue – single and two storey side extensions.

   •Steeple Street – terraced housing.

   •Catherine Street and Great King Street – terraced houses.

   •Upgrading and extensions to form Care Home at Cumberland Street.

   •355 Park Lane – refurbishment of detached house.

   •Bank Street refurbishment of terraced house and erection of two terraced dwellings.

   •Newton Street – new terraced dwellings.

   •Town Centre lighting, floral displays and poppies.

   •Restoration and reopening of West Park Cafe.

   •Rebuilding churchyard Wall at St.Michael’s.

   •New housing at MDGH site.

   •Detached house corner of Ivy Road and Earlsway.

   •Town Houses at Vincent Street.

   •Housing redevelopment of depot site at Green Street.

   •Town houses at Chestnut Gardens, Whirley Road.

   •Albion Cottages new terraced dwellings at London Road.

   •Redevelopment of garages site off Somerton Road.

   •GROT SPOT NOMINATION – area behind Macclesfield Bus Station.

AWARDS

   Town centre floral displays, poppies and tree illuminations by Macclesfield Town Council, ANSA, Royal British Legion and Lite Ltd.

   Town houses at Vincent Street by Silkdale Living.

   Housing at former council depot, Green Street – Regenda Housing Group, Affordable Homes Consultancy, Chrome Services and J McCall Architects.

   Renovation and reopening of cafe at West Park by Mr Louis Dixon and Mr Ben Fraser.
