Comments made: The degree of reconsideration is disappointing. The three storey scale remains as do elevations which are bland and devoid of interest. The intensity of development is too great and would result in a loss of amenity for nearby residents as a result of the disposition of access roads, parking areas and buildings. The search for maximising development potential maybe understandable but it would not be justified in this case - a lesser scale and perhaps alternative type of development should be considered.

Comments made: There is a mixed character to the recent development on the south side of Moss Lane though it is largely reflected in developments of two storey houses with pitched roofs. In this context we do not consider that the three storey flat roofed apartment block respects the prevailing character of adjacent development and would appear as an unacceptable visual discontinuity. The elevations also come across as bland and uninteresting. We recommend a reconsideration of the scheme.
